Administrative Work Experience:

  • Coordinating all aspects of large-scale, annual meetings and events, including: a three-day annual traveling bus tour.
  • Anticipating work cycles, generating process flow charts, interpreting raw data, and developing evaluative reports.
  • Providing communication between OSU college deans, directors, program coordinators, unit supervisors, and researchers, and the USDA government administrators, the State of Oregon industry partners, and the various tri-state commodity commission groups and their advisory boards.
  • Providing project assistance for USDA Regional Research Projects and Coordinating Committees.
  • Managing competitive, multi-state, multiple-project, USDA special research grants from proposal solicitation to final award.
  • Receiving, processing, announcing, and maintaining a database for information on Tri-State Plant Variety Cultivar and Germplasm Releases.
